Matibabu Foundation
Is a non-profit organization that exists to build informed, healthy, and prosperous rural communities.
Based in the rural community of Western Kenya, in Siaya County, Matibabu Foundation provides essential medical services to more than 200,000 people who are in dire need of access to professional and affordable healthcare.
The inspiration behind Matibabu Foundation is rooted in the life experiences of its founder, Daniel Ogola. After several years of starting and running a community-based organization in the Kibra slums of Nairobi—where he lived from his teenage years into early adulthood—Daniel felt a strong calling to give back to his rural roots. This desire ultimately led to the growth and mission of Matibabu Foundation: improving access to quality healthcare and empowering communities through knowledge and care.
