Adolescent & Sexual Reproductive Health
“Matibabu Hospital — Caring for Healthy Pregnancies, Delivering Healthy Babies.”
In collaboration with the Days for Girls Foundation, Matibabu Foundation offers sexual and reproductive health care and information to adolescent girls in the Ugenya sub-county in Siaya County.
100 schools have received sexual and reproductive health education
450 boys received sexual and reproductive health education
1000 girls received sexual and reproductive health education
The program conducts:
- Education & empowerment for adolescents and women
- Distribution of SRH products (pads, contraceptives)
- Maternal care services (ANC, deliveries, postnatal care)
- Safe transport via Boda Girls to improve access
- Cervical cancer screening & awareness
- Community outreach & medical camps
- Workforce training through its nursing college
